Make your bids and tenders stand out from the competition by improving your bid writing skills
This event is a re-run of the December workshop, being organised due to popular demand

Overview
The workshop will provide delegates with tips about how to write a winning bid, discuss common mistakes and how to avoid them.
The workshop will include an overview of what bid evaluators are looking for and the essential skills required to make a bid response stand out from the competition.
Skills covered will include how to:
- Write in a clear concise way
- Focus on benefits and not just features
- Develop positive statements of scope
- Clearly articulate roles and responsibilities
- Summarise bids effectively
Delegates will be given an opportunity to practise the skills that they learn in the workshop by carrying out practical exercises in break out groups.
Who should attend?Any organisation that is involved in winning work through competitive tender processes and/or is required to submit bids and quotes for work on a regular basis.
Delegates should be those individuals who have responsibility for drafting bid documents and/or contributing to them.

The Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) is the leading trade association for vocational learning and employment providers in Britain. The majority of its 670+ members are independent private, not-for-profit and voluntary sector training and employment services organisations. Membership is open to any provider committed to quality provision and it includes 38 FE colleges involved in work based learning. AELP Members train 75% of England's 850,000 apprentices currently on programme.
Over 70% of the Work Programme prime contractors are AELP members with many other members delivering the programme as sub-contractors. AELP providers currently engage with almost 300,000 employers across the country and last year they helped 117,240 learners complete an apprenticeship.
