Education & Training is the qualification required for all teachers, trainers and assessors who work in the lifelong learning sector in either an ‘associate teaching’ or ‘full teaching’ role.

The participants will need a qualification or experience in the subject area they intend to teach and will need to be able to express themselves orally and in writing.

YMS Training specialise in training in First Aid, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Moving & Handling, Licence Trade and Teacher Training.

Something unique to YMS is our ‘Aftercare Card’ service. In addition to receiving a certificate, every successful course member is given an ‘aftercare card’ providing essential advice from their course (e.g. CPR instructions, Essential Food Temperatures). This pocket-sized card also contains the details of the course along with the expiry date and a contact number to ring for expert advice for the duration of their certification following the course.

YMS also has a trainer who is experienced in working with young people and learners with additional social/learning needs as well as those who have learning disabilities.
