Level 3 Certificate in Paralegal Practice

The Level 3 Certificate in Paralegal Practice is an accredited, bespoke Paralegal qualification. This course presumes no prior knowledge and so introduces learners to the fundamental principles of the English Legal System as well as the responsibilities in client care. The learners then have 2 optional choices.

This course is a more extensive than the Level 3 Award; the Certificate enables a learner to establish a broader base of knowledge, and perhaps cover multiple subjects that are applicable to a specific job role.

The course is entirely distance learning, with comprehensive course materials for all the units of study included within the cost of the course. As well as a years affiliate membership of the NALP

The Level 3 Certificate consists of 4 units of study with a single assignment for each. The first unit is the mandatory Unit 30 - An Introduction to Law for Paralegals (5 Credits). The second unit Unit 31 - Legal Ethics and Responsibilities for Paralegals (7 Credits) is also mandatory. The learner would have to choose 2 options, from the following;

Unit 32 - Wills & Succession for Paralegal (7 Credits)
Unit 33 - Civil Litigation for Paralegals (7 Credits)
Unit 34 - Criminal Litigation for Paralegals (7 Credits)
Unit 35 - Commercial Law for Paralegals (7 Credits)
Unit 36 - Conveyancing for Paralegals (7 Credits)
Unit 37 - Employment Law and Practice for Paralegals (7 Credits)
Unit 38 - Consumer Rights and Remedies for Paralegals (7 Credits)

Learners have 2 years to complete the course however this course can be completed much faster.

The NALP does not specify entry requirements for this course however a good standard of english is required.
