Level 3 Award in Food Safety Refresher
(Options in Catering and Manufacturing - there is no Retail refresher)
As a Training Organisation, The Training and Recruitment House is accredited by TQUK/HABC/CIEH/IOSH. This course leads to certification in the CIEH Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering (Refresher)/CIEH Level 3 Award in Food Safety Supervision for Manufacturing (Refresher).

This Course will allow you to apply for many positions in the food, hospitality and care sectors as well as being an important requirement for those already working.
How long does the Course take?
The Course takes around 12 hours in total. It is normally delivered over 2 days.

Is there a test at the end of the Course? What is the pass rate?
Yes there are 60 multiple choice questions. Currently the pass rate is 100% with 66% gaining Merit
How is the Course delivered? What will I learn?
The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials. You will learn about food poisoning, personal hygiene and how to keep food safe from delivery to service.
Who is the Course for?
This is an essential course for anyone Supervising those working with food including cooking, preparing and serving. It previously was called “Intermediate Food Hygiene”. Refresher is required after 3 years.
To be eligible to complete the Refresher your must produce a "Level 3 Award in Food Safety" Certificate either in Catering, Manufacturing or Retail in advance of your Course. If you cannot find your Certificate you should contact the Centre where you completed the Course for a replacement.
