What is the Course?
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (EAT)
This Qualification replaces PTLLS
As a Training Organisation, The Training and Recruitment House is accredited by TQUK/HABC/CIEH/IOSH. This course leads to certification in the CIEH Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
What can I do once I complete the Course?
This Course will allow you to apply for Membership of the Society for Education and Training. It is a pre-requisite for Teachers and Trainers.
How long does the Course take?
The Course takes around 36 hours in total. It is normally delivered over a 5 days or 10 evenings.
Is there a test at the end of the Course?
There are 2 multiple choice exams (15 questions each) and a structured 1000 word essay to complete. You will also complete an observed 20-25 minute micro teach. All assessments are to be completed during the Training week.

The Course is held in our offices at 51 Church Street, Portadown. We can also come to Your Premises
How is the Course delivered? What will I learn?
The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials. You will learn about the origin of EAT, Legislation, the teaching cycle, course design to evaluation.
