Level 3 Award for Manual Handling Trainers.
As a Training Organisation, The Training and Recruitment House is accredited by TQUK/HABC/CIEH/IOSH. This course leads to certification in the TQUK Level 3 Award for Manual Handling Trainers.
This course has been registered by CITB NI for assistance to registered in-scope employers.

What can I do once I complete the Course?
This qualification is suitable for individuals who wish to deliver manual handling training to others whether in the workplace or on a freelance basis.
How long does the Course take?
The Course takes around 18 hours in total. It is normally delivered over 3 days or 6 evenings.

Is there a test at the end of the Course? What is the pass rate?
This course is assessed by completion of multiple choice questions to assess theory. You will also plan, design and deliver a short manual handling training session which is also assessed.
How is the Course delivered? What will I learn?
This course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials. You will learn about the relevant Legislation and Codes of Practice, anatomy of the spine, key injuries, manual handling training considerations as well as how to plan, design and deliver an effective training session.

This course is for anyone who wishes to teach Manual Handling to others.
