Nowadays there is no excuse not to make the short film you have been telling your friends and family you are going to make for the last five years.
With the rise of digital cameras and editing, and the amount of actors out there, it is actually easier to make a short film, than explain to people why you haven’t made it. The only way to learn about film making is to make films.
This course takes place over three evenings and then a one-day shoot. The three evenings will cover planning and pre-production of the short film, and the day will be spent completely shooting the short film.
NB. Editing etc, will take place after the course has finished.
A script, locations and actors will be provided.

Speaker/s
Gooch is the only person in the world to have been a winner with BBC Talent two years running. He has made more than 20 short films and pop promos, many of which have been screened at festivals across the globe.
Gooch directed the BAFTA winning and EMMY Nominated Spooks interactive (BBC/Kudos) and has directed Doctors (BBC1) and Hollyoaks (C4).
He has a Masters degree in screenwriting form LCC – The university of the Arts and has written fourteen feature films – one a year every year.
His debut feature film DEATH won or was nominated for 8 awards at only 10 film festivals, including winning Best Director and The Audience Award at The Bram Stoker Film festival 2012.
His latest movie the british sci-fi comedy The Search for Simon is currently doing the festival rounds.
He has two feature films in development Alice on Mars, based on the book by Robert Rankin and Deathtrap Dungeon based on the multi Million selling fighting fantasy game-books by gaming legend Ian Livingstone.
