It is essential for all employees to be aware of their responsibilities under The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA) and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. Furthermore, under Health and Safety Legislation, employers are required

- Manual handling risks including slips, trips and falls
- Basic fire safety awareness and individual responsibilities
- Basic infection and prevention awareness, including personal protective equipment (PPE)
- The importance of self-awareness and awareness of work related stress
- Awareness of occupational health hazards in the workplace
- Basic lone working awareness
- RIDDOR (including April 2012 update)

How am I assessed?
Once you have completed all the online learning materials for this course, you will be required to complete an online assessment. The reason for this online assessment is to test your knowledge regarding age verification and regulatory requirements. You
will be required to gain a pass mark of at least 80% to pass. If you fail the online age verification knowledge test, do not worry - you are given as many changes as you may need
