Introduction information;

Over a hundred services have helped service users (SU) improve their quality of life using this safe and effective system. These include:
1. Professional working with young people with special educational needs (SEN)
2. Charities supporting young people in the community with SEN
3. Those supporting older adults 

The aim of the training

The aim of the course is to give you the skills needed to create, implement and evaluate person centred independent living programs for those with mild to moderate mental health problems.

Learning Outcomes 

By the end of the course you will be able to:

1. Assess the holistic health needs of SU
2. Identify areas that need added support and development
3. Develop structured mutually agreed action plans
4. Deliver targeted person centred activity sessions for SU
5. Evaluate and adapt SU programs
6. Critically reflect on individual and team practice

George Flaherty MSc MBA Ba Ed, started working within social care in 1995. He is now renowned for his ability to pass on practical skills to those that attend his seminars and courses across the UK, Europe and the USA.

Over the years George has managed and successfully marketed his own businesses. He has now passes the skills he has learnt to owners and managers of social care settings. George is often a guest speaker at conferences and seminars explaining how to fill care home beds and promote homes successfully.

He is a published author of many books. His latest book The Guide to Filling Care Home Beds is due for publication December 2011.
