The aim of the training
By the end of the day those who attend will be able to identify and use a range of positive techniques to manage and respond to challenging behaviours
The learning outcomes
Those who attend the course will be able to:
1. Establish the importance of multi-disciplinary approach to the creation of PBs
2. Conduct a functional behavioural assessment
3. Conduct a root cause analysis
4. Establish priorities in the management of multiple challenging behaviours
5. Set realistic and meaningful behavioural goals
6. Develop, deliver modify a strategy

George Flaherty MSc MBA Ba Ed, started working within social care in 1995. He is now renowned for his ability to pass on practical skills to those that attend his seminars and courses across the UK, Europe and the USA.
Over the years George has managed and successfully marketed his own businesses. He has now passes the skills he has learnt to owners and managers of social care settings. George is often a guest speaker at conferences and seminars explaining how to fill care home beds and promote homes successfully.
He is a published author of many books. His latest book The Guide to Filling Care Home Beds is due for publication December 2011.
