The aim of course is to give those who attend a complete understanding of how to support those at the end of life.

The learning outcomes

By the end of the course delegates will be able to:

1. Understand how to work in end of life care
2. Understand how to provide support to manage pain and discomfort
3. End of life care and dementia 
4. Understanding the role of the care worker in time of death
5. Understand loss and grief in end of life care.

Speaker/s

George Flaherty MSc MBA Ba Ed, started working within social care in 1995. He is now renowned for his ability to pass on practical skills to those that attend his seminars and courses across the UK, Europe and the USA.

Over the years George has managed and successfully marketed his own businesses. He has now passes the skills he has learnt to owners and managers of social care settings. George is often a guest speaker at conferences and seminars explaining how to fill care home beds and promote homes successfully.

He is a published author of many books. His latest book The Guide to Filling Care Home Beds is due for publication December 2011.
