Courses start every week, every day, Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday's and Sundays by request. A
counterbalance forklift has a heavy weight at the rear to counterbalance the weight carried at the front. Hence the name 'counterbalance forklift truck'. It also has a different fulcrum to the reach truck. A
reach truck is used in more confined spaces and has the mast reaching out to collect the load. Hence the name 'reach truck'. This course provides training to those to wish to operate these safely and effectively. Certificates and Photo Cards
are available for proof of qualification.
Training is available to anyone aged 18 or more who is physically and mentally fit. Our courses are designed to help you learn everything needed to obtain your qualification with free theory questions and answers for our customers.
Our training is ideal for self-sponsored private individuals; people funded through a charity or Job Centre & for Companies up skilling their workforce. Courses suit all levels of experience with Wallace training accredited by:
• RTITB - Road Transport Industry Training board
o Operator Registration included in fees.
o A unique ID number will be issued and remain with the operator for life.
At the end of training operators complete both practical checks and a simple written theory assessment so we can be sure the knowledge and operating skills we have taught are fully understood.
Anyone operating machinery must be trained to meet Health and Safety at Work requirements. The Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) requires every employer to be sure anyone who uses work equipment has received adequate training and holds
Certificates of Basic Training, issued by an approved training provider, so to be qualified to operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner. We offer training courses for:
• novice operators
• first time certificate for people with some forklift background and
• re-certification or conversion courses for existing experienced operators
Very experienced operators with expired certificate, who need the same type of certificate
• 1 day Course – Refresher Single Qualification
• Reach Forklift - ( Issued with one Certificate)
