Astrology: An Introduction

This is a Free, no obligation Open Evening for prosepective students and those curious about learning Astrology.

During the open evening, we will discuss symbolism of the Zodiac signs, the different constellations and the Sun's journey through the Zodiac in each sign. This is an interactive session and the open evening is always a popular night for anyone interested in astrology to attend and find out more about the course content, meet the tutors and ask questions about the various courses we run (Astrology, Palmistry and Tarot).

This class is a great way to introduce yourself to the subjects and assess which level of entry you should commence your studies with the London School of Astrology.

If you decide to attend the school, you can enter at any level you feel most comfortable: Beginner/Foundation level (year 1), Intermediate level (year 2) or Advanced level (Year 3). Each of these courses can be found on this website or by visiting www.londonschoolofastrology.co.uk, where you can also download a free prospectus.

Year One is the Foundation Course which is held on week nights.
We have an alternative Beginners Course which run alongside year one, but on Saturdays. These courses have classes that are interchangeable and students can attend one or both classes per week, depending on class availabilities.

Year Two is our intermediate class for those with a good grasp of the basic concepts of astrology that we teach in year one.

Year Three is the Advanced class for those with a good understanding of intermediate to advanced astrological techniques.

Frank C Clifford is Principle and Head Tutor of the London School of Astrology, professional consulting Astrologer and author of many books and articles on astrology and palmistry. Frank teaches and speaks about astrology internationally whist running his publishing company, Flare Publications which he founded in 1996. In September 2012, Frank’s peers awarded him the prestigious Charles Harvey Award for Exceptional Service to Astrology.

Frank Clifford will be Joined by Kim Farley, fellow professional teacher and consulting Astrologer, who has been a teacher at the Londosn School of Astrology since it's inception in 2000. Kim consults with clients at her home in London and runs a series of workshops in the UK and abroad.

Kim Farley

A senior member of the LSA teaching team, Kim has been practising astrology since the late 80s.

She holds the Diploma of the Faculty of Astrological Studies and taught Certificate & Diploma classes for FAS, as well as being a regular tutor at their Summer Schools. She also teaches Local Authority groups and private students.

Kim has previously served time as administrator to the Urania Trust (the astrological charity) and served on Faculty Council, but has since been released back into the community!

She has a consultation practice, centred on natal and forecasting work and has lectured abroad as well as nationally. Her first publication, 'Astro Mind Maps', was published in 2010.

Alongside her astrological work, Kim cooks for a living and spends a lot of time avoiding the fact that she ought to write.

One term costs £255, two terms paid together is £480, all three terms paid together is £720.

Included in the cost of the course are course materials like a laminated copy of your birth chart and The Contemporary Astrologer's handbook as well as exercise books, and a variety of other course text books.
