The IOSH Managing Safely course is designed for managers and supervisors working in any organisation or sector.It provides step-by-step guidance with a business focus on how to implement a health and safety management system in an organisation based on HSE guidance document HSG65. It provides understanding and awareness of health and safety management tools and techniques, legal requirements, and risk assessment. Participants successful in the test and the project are awarded the Managing Safely Certificate by IOSH. 100% of participants rate this IOSH course as good or excellent, and 99% say they would recommend the course to others.
Target Audience
The course is designed for managers, supervisors, safety representatives and members of health and safety committees in all roles and functions
Assessment process
The assessment is broken down into two parts:
- Participants complete an end of course test comprising short answer questions
- Following the course, participants complete a health and safety risk assessment in their own workplace
