Who should attend?
This 3 day, Highfield accredited course, will give the learner the required knowledge and skills to become a competent First Aider in the work place.
Course ContentThis 3-day course will cover, in detail, the following elements.
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Unconscious casualty
- Chest injuries
- Choking casualty
- Asthma
- Hyperventilation
- Major and minor wounds
- Shock (including anaphylaxis)
- Angina & heart attack victims
- Stroke victims
- Burns & scalds
- Poisoning
- Soft tissue injuries
- Seizures - Epylepsy - Diabetes
On successful completion of the course the learner will be issued with an HSE approved certificate.
AssessmentExamination & practical assessment.
