This course has been designed for any person entering a working environment where there is a possibility of risk to health.
Course contentThe course will cover:
- Introduction to infection control
- Legislation
- Policies and Procedures
- Employees’ roles and responsibilities
- Benefits and consequences
- Potential risks within the working environment
- Risk assessments
By attending this course learners will gain knowledge and information on how to minimise the risks of cross infections within the workplace.

DurationThis introductory course is run over 1/2 day, the course will begin at 0930 and run until 1230. Regular refreshment breaks will also be provided.
VenueThis course can be held at one of our fit-for-purpose training suites at our offices in Central Cardiff, or can be run at a venue of your choice.
AssessmentThroughout the course, learners will have sessions of questions & answers, alongside activities and exercises. Learners will complete a multiple choice test paper.
