Emergency First Aid at Work Course (Level 2)

A full Health and Safety Executive approved First Aid at Work course in accordance with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Students are independently examined on the final afternoon of the course. Upon successful completion of the course, certification is valid for three years. The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is a one day course. Below identifies the course content covered in Emergency First Aid at Work.
One Day Emergency First Aid at Work- The role of the first aider
- Communicating with a casualty
- Contents of first aid kits (and avoid cross infection)
- Recording of incidents and accidents
- Assess the situation and circumstances in order to act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
Administer first aid to a casualty who;
- is unconscious,
- requires cardio pulmonary resuscitation
Administer first aid to a casualty who;
- is unconscious,
- requires cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR),
- is choking,
- is wounded or bleeding,
- is in shock,
- has minor conditions – to include: minor cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns & scalds, small splinters.
Course dates for Emergency First Aid at Work are available upon request and require a minimum of six candidates for the course to be held.
The price for Emergency First Aid at Work is £80 + VAT.
