Finance for Revenue Managers is designed for those working in revenue management roles who need to improve their understanding of business costs and margins in order to price effectively.

This course is suitable for newly appointed Revenue Managers in hotels seeking to improve their understanding of the hotels Profit and Loss account and the impact of revenue management strategies on profitability.

Participants should be working in roles associated with revenue management. No prior knowledge of finance and accounting is required.

  • Introduction to Finance for Revenue Managers
  • Departmental and unit profit and loss accounts (based on the Uniform System of Accounts)

  • Pricing strategies and drivers of profitability
