This three day, HSE recognised course is a qualification aimed at those who wish to become a First Aider in the workplace for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This qualification is intended for candidates already working or preparing to work in industry. It covers all areas of first aid including:

  • The Role and Responsibility of a First Aider

  • Assessing an Incident

  • Unresponsive Casualty who is Breathing

  • Unresponsive Casualty who is not Breathing

  • Assist a Casualty who is Choking

  • Casualty who is Wounded and Bleeding

  • Casualty who is in Shock

  • Casualty with a major and minor injury
