This course is suitable for those already instructing and wishing to improve their knowledge and skills or those wishing to enter this supportive and professional service area within the canine industry.
Entry requirements: Students must have at least 2 years handling experience of different breeds and not just their own dogs, a passion for welfare and a desire to help others. Course Fee £1100 (Monthly payment plan available).
This course requires practical attendance and will involve both theory and practical elements with formal assessments.
This course supports the learning criteria for the KCAI Accreditation Scheme as we are a Kennel Club Preferred Educational Provider.
Evening classes starting Wednesday 27th April 2016. 7pm to 9pm for 12 weeks.
This is course is run partly indoors with some outdoor work that takes place locally but away from the College to include 'Real World' training.
There is both homework and the production of a portfolio as part of the assessment process.
