Aroma facial combines the benefits of massage with those of essential oils. The gentle massage relaxes taut muscles and soothes nerve endings leaving a brighter and smoother complexion.
This is a one and half day course that will teach you how to do a skin-type analysis, carry out a deep cleanse and exfoliate, choose essential oils, give a facial and neck massage.
The course covers some theory but is mainly practical work and includes 12 case studies. By the end of the course you will know:
- History & benefits of massage
- How to carry out a consultation
- Equipment needed
- Massage movements
- Massage oils
- How to carry out a face and neck massage
- Professional Ethics/Code of Practise/Working Environment
- Insurance and how to obtain it
Pre-requisite: A Diploma (or equivalent) in Anatomy & Physiology and Aromatherapy is required. Como offers courses in both Anatomy and Physiology course, undertaken by home study, and Aromatherapy both of which must be completed before training in Aroma Facial commences.
