Fitt – Pilates Small Equipment 3 Workshops
These are 3 afternoon workshops REPs accredited as a complete small equipment Pilates course. Suitable for all Pilates instructors wanting to learn how to bring equipment into their classes. The workshops will teach you to use relevant pieces of equipment with individuals and groups, you will learn how using small equipment can change the feel and dynamics of an exercise. The workshops will also cover correct teaching of exercises, progressions, adaptations and contraindications with teaching practice.
You will learn how to use:
- Bands and Advanced Bands
- Magic Circles and Advanced Circles
- Basic foam rollers with Hand weights, foam rollers and Advanced foam rollers
These workshops will give you an increased repertoire and take away booklet of exercises using all of the above equipment. At the end of the day you will have an understanding of how each of these bits of equipment can improve kinaesthetic feedback and muscular recruitment within the Pilates context.
You will be awarded a certificate of attendance and 8 REPs points on completion of all workshop.
