The course is comprised of several assessment elements, designed to test you in a range of ways:
- Knowledge-based assessments which include theory exams and a written lesson plan
- Practical workshop where you’ll be assessed on your ability to deliver a step class
- Self-evaluation of teaching skills
In order to enrol on this course, you’ll need to possess a Level 2 Fitness Instruction qualification, and this can either be as a gym, or exercise to music instructor. In addition to the academic requirements, it’s recommended that you have a keen interest in group exercise and be able to perform and follow basic choreography.
