The qualification approved by Industry Qualifications (IQ) through the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) is certified as:
IQ Level 5 Certificate for Fraud Prevention Professionals. This 150 hour course, split over 8 Units at Level 5, is the equivalent working level to that of a ‘Foundation Degree’ in the UK.

What you will be Taught
This course will provide the most up-to-date knowledge and a complete understanding of Modern Fraud Prevention and will greatly enhance your career opportunities within the Organisation fraud investigations sector and security industry, whether you are a newcomer
to fraud within security operations or an existing professional who wishes to enhance their professional development. The course consists of 8 Units with a minimum of 150 guided learning hours in total. It covers an understanding of what Modern Fraud Prevention
entails, the main ways in which converged Fraud Prevention supports an Organisation, how it addresses risk, current and emerging threats and the concept of Modern Fraud Prevention and security convergence. Units cover the following:
Unit 1: Fraud Prevention Training for Business – Modern Fraud Prevention for Business is designed to show how Modern Fraud Prevention should be integrated within a Business.
Unit 2: Threats of Today and Tomorrow – Threats of Today and Tomorrow covers the various threats faced by Business today and in the future.
Unit 3: What is Fraud Prevention?What is Fraud Prevention? This Module describes the extensive measures available for reducing risks.
Unit 4: Fraud Prevention and Risk Mitigation – Introduces the Risk Assessment methodology and how to reduce risk through the implementation of Fraud Prevention measures.
Unit 5: Fraud Prevention and Convergence – Fraud Prevention and Convergence introduces the modern approach of Fraud Convergence, which is essential for the effective and efficient mitigation of risk in the complex world of today.
Unit 6: Fraud Prevention and Incident Management – Fraud Prevention and Incident Management introduces the role that Fraud Prevention has when a fraud occurs, or an incident or crisis happens and additional Fraud Prevention measures are required.
Unit 7: Fraud Prevention being Modern Fraud Prevention being Modern brings the topic of Fraud Prevention up to date with a truly modern set of ideas and measures to reduce risk and to be more successful.
Unit 8: Research Management and Dissertation – This final Unit will explain how to conduct Primary and Secondary research and the basic principles of Harvard style referencing in order to complete the final report. You will also complete a final essay on what you have learnt on this course.
