This course aims to train delegates in the statutory requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (as applies to power presses). Due to the high risk of injury when working with power presses, it is critical that employees working
in their vicinity receive instruction on avoiding injury.
COURSE CONTENT
Training will include:
- Power press mechanisms and safety devices
- Safety in press brakes
- Accident causes(s) and preventative measures
- Legal requirements
- Work of the tool setter
- Tool design and its influence on safety
DURATION
1 to 2 days depending on experience
Our services are fully mobile which means all of our training courses can take place at your own premises to keep your operator travelling expenses to a minimum.
