The CPH Online E-learning Programme

PG Licentiate in Homeopathy for qualified Medical Personnel and CAM Health Practitioners.

If you are interested in enhancing your practice and gaining an insight into how homeopathy could enhance your understanding of health then this course is for you. This fascinating programme of study can be done as part of your continuing professional development programme (CPD) and is therefore tax deductible. It will challenge your understanding of how far your current practice follows the principles of healing and open up possibilities for a more sustainable and ecological approach to health that is so needed in the modern world.

Our aim is to rekindle and enhance in each student their own unique skill and talent, their insight and understanding, their courage and passion that led them to a career in a healing profession and to enable them to add homeopathy as a tool to support their existing practice. It is the experience of CPH that confidence grows naturally when clinical ability is matched with clinical understanding and so clinical training is considered to be the primary qualifying component of the CPH course. It is the way we provide this that makes our online e-learning course totally unique. On completion of the course graduates will:

  • Have a thorough grounding in all key areas of homeopathy, including Therapeutics and Materia Medicas.

  • Have an understanding of the human body and its functioning in health and in illness from a homeopathic as well as an allopathic perspective.

  • Be familiar with homeopathic remedies and their application in practice.

  • Appreciate the place of homeopathic medicine within medicine as a whole - both complementary and conventional, and the contribution it can make as a specialist health care discipline.

  • Be able to assess a client and accurately evaluate their state of health from a homeopathic perspective.

  • Be able to recognise medical emergencies, and pathologies beyond their competence (or legal status) to treat, reviewing the range of referral options available and acting appropriately.

  • Be able to develop an appropriate management and treatment plan including a homeopathic prescription.

CPH is the leading provider of homeopathic training courses in the UK. We place the most emphasis on practical application as the base to any learning. Our online E-learning course follows that philosophy. Uniquely our courses require students to begin to see patients early on in their clinical training.

We attract a wide range of students from all walks of life and different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities. It meets the needs of those who live too far to travel to London , those who live outside the UK, those who lead busy lives but want something more out of life, and for those who wish to study but need the flexibility to study at their own pace. Students may continue their studies regardless of changes of address within a country or between countries.

CPH combines a strong vocational training (which means that a career-specific, practical and skills-focused approach is used) combined with an excellent theoretical foundation that leads to a professional qualification in homeopathy. To understand homeopathy and become a successful practitioner entails developing an alternative perspective on health and this is not something that can be learnt properly from a purely academic training. Homeopathy is essentially a people’s business and real learning comes from seeing patients. ...
