The Emergency First Aid at Work training course is 6 hours in duration, and covers the subject areas required for the HSE's Emergency First Aid At Work training course. The Emergency first aid at work training courses is suitable for organisations with up to 50 staff where the environment is considered low-hazards, such as Offices (below 50 staff), Retail shops, Clubs,Local , Community organisations. Churches
The Emergency First Aid at Work training course covers the following topic areas:
- Acting safely and promptly and effectively in an emergency
- Preventing Cross infection, recording incidents and actions and use of available equipment
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Care of an unconscious casualty (including seizure)
- Choking
- Wounds and Bleeding
- Shock
- Minor injuries
Outline
The one day course is presented in understandable stages with presentation and practical that helps the learner understand.
The Emergency First Aid at Work training course is continually assessed throughout the day. Following successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate, which will be valid for three years.
Each candidate receives an emergency first aid at work book & pen.
