Details

You will learn as a group the basic principles of construction to build a clay oven along with learning about the right type of clay to use and how to make the correct mix of clay and straw. This will enable you to design and create your own clay oven for pizza or bread making at home.  Be prepared to get dirty!


The course is taken by Justin Cleveland Peck and will run from 9.00am until 5.00pm approximately.

Lunch will comprise of home made pizza, cooked in our own clay oven, teas/coffees are provided.

Special Requirements:  You will need to bring 2 pairs of sturdy boots, one of which is going to be used to tread the clay down so please bring boots that you can wash afterwards.  Gloves are useful although not vital.
