This Safety Harness Train the Trainer course is a 2 days course which is specifically designed for any person who is involved with working at height and the use of harnesses. You will be able to train basic safe working at height along with the safe use of harnesses.
The training also covers the inspection, fitting and use of fall restraint and fall arrest harnesses.

• Correct wearing and fitting of harnesses (practical exercise)
• Storage and care of equipment
• Rescue provision requirements
• Structuring and delivering training including dealing with various learning styles

Assessment Criteria:There is a written test and the trainees will be assessed on the practical element.
The training involves candidate participation with the emphasis on the practical element of the training. On day two the candidate will carry out a practical training session on which they will be assessed.
The candidate will complete a pre-course questionnaire, a mid-course interview and a post-course professional discussion to fulfil the requirements of the City and Guilds Profile of Achievement criteria.
