Details

This course enables those already involved in inspection and testing to have their academic ability and practical skill assessed in line with national Criteria. Those who have little or no experience in inspection and testing are strongly urged to complete the 2392 Inspection and Testing course before commencing this award.

The 2391-52 Award covers both Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing. Those wishing to cover Initial Verification or Periodic Inspection only may attend the same course but complete the 2391- 50 or 2391-51 assessments respectively.

Candidates attend a five-day theory training session where time will be made available to undertake a limited amount of practical testing. Practice papers are provided, and candidates are encouraged to complete these during the evening for marking and review in class on the following day.

Assessment consists of a two-hour multiple choice on-line examination (certain publications permitted) which is completed on the final day of the course and a one-day practical assessment which requires the candidate to return to the assessment centre at a mutually agreed time.
