Aimed at all those who are looking to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver Aviation First Aid training for cabin crew and flight crew. The course covers the requirements of EASA Implementing Rules, and current first aid protocols from the UK and European Resuscitation Councils.

Our approach

Our Skypeople approved level 4 instructors are experts in the field of Aviation First Aid and specialise in the development of First Aid Instructors. Our aim is to create an atmosphere conducive to learning - relaxed, engaging, supportive, and fun.  Learners are encouraged to share experiences, offer peer support and self-reflect.


Course Overview

This course prepares instructors to train aircrew to confidently and effectively manage life-threatening first aid emergencies before medical professionals arrive.  Procedures are adapted to suit an aviation environment, either within flight, during ground operations or post evacuation survival.  The course uses a range of teaching approaches including classroom including:

  • Instruction
  • Practical activity
  • Group discussion 
  • Simulations
  • Delegate micro-teach sessions

Knowledge and skills are assessed through observation of training sessions and a written questionnaire on day three.  Delegates are also required to demonstrate competency in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (using a manikin), recovery position and choking treatment.

Skypeople was started in 2013 to set-up a UK Civil Aviation Authority aprroved cabin crew training organisation.  Our core product is the  Cabin Crew Attestation delivery and to date we have delivered this course to over 5,000 learners.  More recently we have expanded our training offering to include a broader range of courses for cabin crew and pilots.  

We specialise in assiting individuals who wish to train as cabin crew or those who are already in the role to develop further. We also elements of pilot training.
