Framing & Mounting masterclass with Pete Smyth
Details
This masterclass will demonstrate custom alternatives to buying readymade frames. Using equipment and materials that are widely available it will show you how to measure mounting board accurately, how to cleanly cut a passepartout, and how to make a frame. Pete will also pass on the many tips he has gained from his years of experience, as well as discussing different framing styles, and different ways of hanging pictures. Alternatives to conventional framing such as diabond and acrylic mounting will also be explained.
Where does the course take place?
This workshop is held in the Gallery of Photography LightRoom, which is located on the top floor of our building in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
