Our half-day Safe administration of medications (SAMS) course is designed to equip staff with the skills and knowledge required to safely administer medication in a variety of healthcare and residential care settings.

Anyone who works in the health or social care sector and might be involved in the administration of medications.

Equip the healthcare worker with sufficient knowledge of different types of medication and allow them to safely administer the mediation covered in this course.

Methods of training
The course is highly interactive with each theory session being followed by a demonstration, practical tasks and assessment of individual skills.
Assessment and certification
Each participant will be continuously assessed. A certificate of attendance is issued at completion and is valid for 2 years.
