SUMMER SESSIONS: PLANTER TASTER AUGUST 14TH 7PM-9PM

PLANTER SPECIAL 

In this two hour workshop you will be guided through two methods of hand building - slab building and coiling technique, you can then choose which technique you would like to work with to construct your Planter.

This is a great introduction to hand building with clay and is just enough time to gain an understanding of the material and make something you'll be really proud of :)

WHAT TO EXPECT

We will provide some simple templates that you can use but if you have an idea of your own we can talk through what is attainable on the day :)

When you have assembled your design, then its time to let your creativity run free. You can apply a texture or pattern to make your planter uniquely yours and compliment your living space.

To ensure a relaxing and rewarding experience for all, the classes are kept to a minimum, 8 people per class.

After the session you will leave your planter with us and we will process it for you i.e glaze and fire in their kiln. We will dip it in a beautiful snow white glaze and it  should take about 3 weeks to process. We will notify you by email when it is ready for collection.

If however you would prefer to come back to glaze your planter yourself we can book you in on the day for our student glazing workshop which takes place once a month usually on a Saturday. We can discuss this in more detail and book you in on the day :)
