 Based on the learning objectives, all candidates are assessed in two ways:

  1. Knowledge and comprehension; candidates are required to complete a standard assessment under examination conditions, which consist of 30 questions in a variety of formats within 45 minutes. There is a maximum of 60 marks available, the Pass mark is 36 out of 60.
  2. Candidates are required to complete a workplace risk assessment using either the standard IOSH form or their own company form. This is to be completed within two weeks of the end of the course. There is a maximum of 38 marks available, the pass mark is 23 out of 38.

The overall pass mark is 60.

Honestly!!!! Probably the best course I've ever attended. Grahams way of delivering the course was second to none. He made it very interesting by using a wide variety of subject matter, visual aids, paper aids and various different stories and examples when we were discussing certain topics.
