Details
This course will focus on producing a beautifully crafted and unique piece of furniture and fully understanding the natural shrinkage qualities of timber for ‘dry jointing’ and making a sturdy piece without the need for glue, nails or screws. After
three days you will be able to take home a stool woven with a material of your choice [see below]. This course is run by green woodworker Charles Hooper.
Lunches, tea and coffee are provided over the 3 days.
This course will run from 0900am until 5.00pm approximately. The final day generally ends after lunchtime [if all has gone to plan!]
Special Requirements:- Appropriate clothing required, sturdy boots etc.
Please note there will be an additional charge to be paid at the end of the course for the chosen seating for your stool.
