It is a legal requirement in the UK that all businesses require a fire warden.

Our online training course that will equip the user with all the knowledge they need to become a fully trained Fire Warden or Fire Marshal. It will also help the user to meet the requirements of the Fire Safety Order 2005 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

This online course is CPD Accredited and IOSH & RoSPA Approved. It can be completed in just 40 minutes and provides a printable certificate upon completion.

Outline

1. The Nature of Fire
In this first section, we cover the nature of fire – how it works, and the different ways in which it can spread; we also cover smoke and the dangers it poses
2. Signage
This section identifies the different types of signs you may see in the workplace; we define what they look like, what they mean, and our Traffic Light System provides a simple way to remember the different types.
3. Proactive Duties
This section looks at the first half of a Fire Warden’s Proactive Duties, which are routine, preventative tasks that need to be completed to reduce the risk of a fire starting.
4. Reactive Duties
This section covers clear leadership and human behaviour.
5. Fire Extinguisher
This final section teaches warden’s about when it’s safe to fight a fire, and when it’s not.
