This course is specially designed for students and designers who want to have a deeper understanding of colour and to specialise in Colour Consultancy. This is a fascinating and growing area that allows you to work in many different fields - including interior design, advertising and marketing, fashion, retail and manufacturing.

Colour theory usually makes up just a small part of Interior Design training, and it focuses mainly on colour mixing and co-ordinating only.  The Holistic Design Institute colour therapeutics course is based on a more holistic and eco-friendly approach, where you learn how to use colour pyschology and colour therapy to choose colours that create harmonious and supportive spaces. The course gives you an understanding of how colour affects internal space and the atmosphere in a room, and helps you create beautiful but balanced and vibrant colour schemes that are in keeping with the needs of the occupants of the building. Full details can be found on the Holistic Design Institute website.

QUALIFICATION
On successful completion an International Diploma in Colour Therapeutics will be awarded by The Holistic Design Institute.  This allows you to put the letters-
Dip.HDI (ColTh.) after your name. You will also get one year's free membership to the Holistic Design Institute and placed on our database for referrals.

ASSESSMENT
This consists of answering the questions at the end of each lesson, that may include feedback on some of the practical tasks you have carried out. There is a final project.
