The IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) is aimed at keeping managers up to date with the latest in safety and health regulations in the workplace. New managers will gain a full understanding of the safety and health regulations as well as the accompanying responsibilities that need to be adhered to in the workplace.
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to review your organisation’s safety systems and introduce and implement new safety measures that may be needed. This will enable you to ensure that your company’s health and safety standards are up to code.
This course will instil within your organisation a greater awareness of health and safety standards as it encourages staff involvement in keeping the workplace safer and healthier. The IOSH Managing Safely qualification is a level 2 certification and, due to the applicable legislation, is recognised throughout the UK.
During the IOSH Managing Safely course, you will be taught the following:
- Risk control
- Risk assessment
- Incident investigation
- Measuring performance
- Environmental protection
In order to gain your IOSH Managing Safely certification you will be required to follow several steps:
- Accumulate 36 hours of online training via this course
- Write and pass the online IOSH Managing Safely exam
- Complete a workplace-based assignment
After you have completed these steps and achieved a minimum of 50% for the exam and 50% for the assignment, you will receive your IOSH Managing Safely certification.
You do not need to fulfil any prerequisites to study this ISOH Managing Safely training course.
