Level 2 Door Supervisor (4 days)
This course is for individuals who wish to work as a Door Supervisor in Clubs, Pubs and places of Entertainment. It is a duel badge and does allow individuals to engage in work as a Security Guard. You must have an SIA Licence in order to work in the security industry.
The course is split down into 4 sections
Module 1 Common Security Industry which covers the general private security industry
Module 2 Working as a Door Supervisor which looks at the work of Door Staff in more detail
Module 3 Conflict Management which examines how to deal with conflict situations
Module 4 Physical Intervention which is the practical element and teaches you disengagement techniques, blocks and escorts
There are 3 multiple choice exams; one each for the first three modules and a practical test and true/false exam for module 4. The exam details are as follows;
Common Security Industry – 40 questions - 60 minutes – 28 right to pass
Working as a Door Supervisor – 45 questions – 75 minutes – 32 right to pass
Conflict Management - 20 questions - 40 minutes – 15 right to pass
The course costs £187.00 and there is the opportunity of gaining a very cost effective Emergency First Aid at Work course during the duration of the Door Supervisor course. They are delivered at a location in Shawsbridge which has good access routes and ample free parking.
