- Supply point earth loop impedance test.
- Earth continuity test of the appliance.
- Appliance insulation test.
- Correct selection and use of test instruments.
- Follow-up action and test records.
- Installation requirements (plumbing & electrical).
- Detailed component function.
- Faultfinding techniques.
- Use of circuit diagrams & sequence charts.
- Extensive practical application of skills & knowledge gained.
