We provide comprehensive preparation for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJECand CIE A-level French, German and Spanish examinations.

Our tutorials focus on the development of the four skills examined - reading, writing, listening and speaking – as well as research, summary and development of cultural topic areas. Tutorials emphasise tailored presentation, targeted practice and personalised feedback, using a bank of proprietary materials (authentic and semi-authentic), questions and papers, as well as past and specimen papers, to enhance fluency and accuracy, develop vocabulary and grammatical control, build confidence and provide enjoyment and stimulation.

We provide an informal assessment for each tutee at the outset. This provides the focus and clarity we need to be able to target accurately where each tutee needs particular support.

Working through the relevant A2 specification, our tutorials are also interactive and fun, developing creatively our tutees’ language skills, time management skills, and their ability to respond effectively to the variety of question types found in French, German and Spanish A2 examinations.

Our A2 Level French, German and Spanish tutorials help to develop our tutees':

• Spoken French, German or Spanish as a means of advanced communication (including discussion of articles, topic areas and cultural topics, role-plays, and presentations);

• Understanding of spoken French, German or Spanish in a variety of contexts and genres (including radio interviews, informal dialogue, extracts from lectures and seminars and news reports);

• Ability to write French, German or Spanish confidently and accurately, demonstrating fluency and structure, for a variety of purposes (including language essays, research-based essays, essays on cultural topics and topic areas, précis and translations);

• Understanding of the different types of written French, German or Spanish (including newspaper articles, academic journals, extracts from literary texts, formal letters, critical guides and reports);

• Understanding and application of a range of vocabulary and grammatical structures in French, German or Spanish (including tenses, moods, voices, cases, parts of speech and lexical fields);

• Awareness and understanding of the contemporary society, cultural background and heritage of countries and communities where French, German or Spanish is spoken (including Belgium, Switzerland and Colombia, respectively).
