Modern Theatre Dance based on the ISTD Grade 2 syllabus, with a view to taking the examination when ready, (not compulsory for those who just want fun and exercise). Also suitable for boys. Children learn a variety of dance movements, limbering and amalgamations
of different styles ranging from lyrical to jazz. Members of the class can participate in performances and there are additional discounts for those also taking Ballet and Tap classes.
Suitable for those who have passed ISTD Grade 1 Modern or older beginners of 9-11. There is a uniform of a sleeveless stirrup-foot catsuit for girls, but we sell it (best to buy from us so you know you have the right thing for your exam)! and you don't have
to get it straight away.

We are a Dance School in Clapham that has been teaching children and adults, both amateur and professional, and enabling the benefits of dance for over 25 years. Our base is close to Clapham Junction, Clapham Common and Vauxhall mainline and underground stations, on many bus routes.
Our aim is to inspire students to love dancing, make full use of all their physical and mental capabilities and to express themselves emotionally to reach a competent level of technique and artistry.
