People in all walks of life have at one point or another have seen some form of conflict. Dealing with this conflict can prove to be more difficult than it would first seem. As well as being compulsory for all Door Supervisors to have undertaken this training, our recommendation would be that anyone who deals with the public on a regular basis should also consider undertaking this course.
The difference between dealing with a conflict in a satisfactory or unsatisfactory way could mean someone getting injured, loss of business, loss of good employees, the list is endless. The course content includes the law relating to violence at work, risk assessment, risk reduction, dynamic risk assessment, responses to threat, the basics of communication, non-verbal communication, defusing high risk conflict and support and learning from conflict.
At the end of the day candidates must pass a multiple choice exam and show an understanding of what they have learnt.
The one day course is fully certified and carried out by fully qualified instructors. Course dates for Conflict Management are available upon request and require a minimum of six candidates for the course to be held.
The price for Conflict Management/Resolution is £65 + vat, for Conflict Management/Resolution with disengagement techniques is £80 + vat.
