Our 7 week course is a comprehensive course that takes you from the point of being made redundant to entering into your new job.Why is this course different?
  • It covers and provides guides, tools and techniques for often forgotten challenges such as anger, resentment, low self-esteem, low self-confidence and low self-worth
  • It considers the impacts on your whole life, not just work life and provides you with hints and tips how to ensure you mitigate any negative fall outs on other areas of your life

  • We offer a facebook forum where you can share your experiences and gain valuable hint and tips for other course participants, and our coaches.

  • 6 sessions of comprehensive content, exercises, techniques & checklists per week for 7 weeks (= 42 sessions)

What you will learn each week
Week 0: Establishing foundations (Bonus Week)
  • learn the 7 success principles that will help you to get the most out of this course
  • understand what redundancy really means
  • discover what help you are entitled to and where to get it
Week 1: Taking stock and setting goals
  • set clear goals and follow through on any actions
  • take stock of who you are now, your skill set and your current state, and become totally clear where you stand in relation to financials, legal position, health and other key areas
  • learn to deal with procrastination, and use our redundancy checklist to get the most out of your former job
Week 2: Letting go of the old
  • let go of your attachment to your old job and transform your resentment and anger into future focused confidence
  • learn how to deal with judgements from others, and more importantly your own judgements of yourself
  • increase your self-esteem and confidence
Week 3: Knowing what counts, now
  • understand what is truly important to you in your career, and how to get it
  • identify your key strengths and your unique gifts that make you attractive to your next employer
  • learn how to deal with stress and situation where your values are not respected
Week 4: Preparing the ground
  • put together a compelling CV and job applications
  • find out what is key to have an appealing online profile
  • learn how to overcome the urge to underrepresent your talents
Week 5: Evolving your options
  • clarify your options of what next, and confidently select the right next move for you
  • activate your network, and make use of recruitment professionals to support your career move
  • learn how to prepare a great elevator pitch for yourself
Week 6: Showing up
  • learn what is important in interviews, assessment centers and psychometrics
  • prepare for a successful interview and contract negotiations
  • find out what example questions to ask an interviewer
Week 7: Dealing with gremlins
  • learn how to avoid common pitfalls on the way
  • find out  how to deal with redundancy gremlins such as doubts and fears
  • discover strategies on how to deal with set-backs including rejection
Week 8: Post Course Follow-up (Bonus Week)
  • discover how you can make an impact in your first 100 days in your new job
  • learn what to do when things do not work out at planned in your new role
  • set new career goals, and introduce regular career reviews
