By the end of the course, you will be able to;

Plan, instruct and evluate safe and appropriate exercise to music sessions,

Select relevant exercises and design appropriate exercise/routines which address safety at all times, use logical and progressive teaching methodology to develop choreography and build routines effectively,

Develop routines that build up in a progressive fashion to ensure that class members experience a sense of achievement

Demonstrate a variety of choreographic and teaching methods to keep class members interested and motivated.
Entry Requirement - Experience in attending group exercise classes is essential.

Unit 1 - Anatomy & Physiology - assessed via a multiple choice exam
Unit 2 - Know how to support Clients Who Take Part In Exercie And Physical Activity - assessed via a worksheet
Unit 3 - Principles of Exercise, Fitness & Health - assessed via a multiple choice exam
Unit 4 - Health, Safety And Welfare In A Fitness Environment - assessed via a worksheet
EXERCISE TO MUSIC UNITS
Unit 5 - Planning group exercise to music sessions - assessed via completion of a worksheet, class overview and class plan
Unit 6 - Instructing group exercise to music sessions - assessed via a practical assessment and self-evaluation
