Paediatric First Aid 2 Day Weekend Course

This course is ideal for individuals preparing to work in, or already working in, close contact with infants and children, regularly interacting and caring for ages 0-5. Types of roles that require this qualification include:

The course will accredit the individual in the Level 2 Paediatric First Aid qualification, as required under the EYFS, and is valid for 3 years. It is also suitable to those renewing an expired, previous qualification.

For groups of 4 or more people, we offer day rates to make the course as cost effective as possible and to enable us to work with individual settings to help suit all kinds of budgets.

You will learn how important First Aid is, especially when it involves children, and how their welfare is the responsibility of everyone involved in the working environment.

All of the topics covered in this course have been evaluated by the Early Years Foundation Stage and confirmed as exceptionally crucial to preventing and treating illness and injuries of infants and children under the care of trained personnel. Participants of the training will undergo a minimum guided learning period of 12 hours, normally completed over 2 days, which is fully compliant with Awarding Body (Highfield ABC), Ofsted, and the EYFS.
