The course is specifically designed to help you become a fully qualified sports massage therapist. In terms of content, it covers a wide range of topics including: planning, providing and evaluating sports massage treatment.
Both the theory and practical elements of the course are delivered in an engaging and highly interactive way.

- Creating, delivering and evaluating effective sports massage treatments
The sports massage course is designed to assess you in a range of practical and theoretical ways. Throughout the learning journey, you’ll receive unlimited supported from our dedicated team of Learner Support Tutors.
To qualify as a sports massage therapist, you’ll be required to complete:
- Multiple choice theory exams including Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology
- Worksheets – including professional practical in sports massage and the principles of soft tissue dysfunction
- Practical assessments – with a real client you’ll be observed performing a client assessment, applying appropriate sports massage treatments and evaluating the treatment delivered.
To enrol on this course you’ll ideally possess a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification in the context of Exercise to music or Gym.
