Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Course
Details
This course covers the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and is tailored to suit your own needs. You can use this as initial training or refresher training.
We try to make the training as simple as possible to allow anyone to use the AED in an emergency situation.
We can alter this course to include basic life support.
If you need more advanced training such as oxygen, bag, valve and mask, and simple airways this can also be built into the course. Please contact us for more information if you require a different level of input.
We use a variety of different training AED’s to enhance your training.
We use different scenario based learning to ensure the theory has been understood.
Course Syllabus:
- Primary survey.
- Unconscious casualty.
- CPR (adult).
- Heart attack.
- Use of the AED.
- Casualty preparation.
- Handover procedure.
Course length: 3 hrs minimum.
Qualification achieved: Automated External Defibrillation certifcate.
Cost: £30 per person (min charge of £240) + VAT for in-house courses.
Courses are run in house or at our training centres in Lincoln and Grimsby. We also run open courses regularly for individuals or businesses needing to train single employees.
