Airways Aviation Academy
The ATPL is the pinnacle of flight education for commercial pilots and the most efficient way to becoming a pilot with major airlines. Offered at our world-class flight line schools in the UK and Spain, the ATPL is the highest achievable licence for civilian pilots. For students with little or no flying experience, the Integrated ATPL course is available as a fast-track option. Our Modular ATPL, offered full-time and part-time in the UK and Spain, is more flexible available to students with a PPL.
The Integrated program begins at our Oxford, UK facilities, where students complete their ATPL Theory over a period of 36 weeks, followed by a 23 week flying program at our satellite in Huesca, Spain and a 10 week advanced flight training in Oxford, UK. The training is completed with the MCC/JOC course with one of partners around Europe.
Our Pilot Training Academies offer advanced flight education, approved by EASA and CASA. This includes single and multi-engine instrument rating, jet orientation, multi-crew orientation and night rating qualification.
Airways Aviation delivers European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approved Private Pilot Licence training for aspiring pilots who want to fly aeroplanes for pleasure. Our PPL is also suitable for people looking to begin pilot training with the basics and work toward their Commercial Pilot Licence or Airline Transport Pilot Licence in an modular way.
At course completion, you will be qualified to fly an aeroplane alone or with passengers for private use. You will also have gained the skills and experience to commence further flight training with confidence.
Our PPL programme is offered in Huesca, Spain, Podgorica, Montenegro, Caloundra and Sunshine Coast, Australia.
The Airways Aviation Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is European Safety Agency (EASA) and Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approved and designed to build upon the skills gained during PPL training. You will undertake further and more advanced flight training including visual flight rules (VFR) navigation, general handling, basic instrument flying and advanced handling.
Upon completion of your CPL you will have the skills and experience you need to work as a commercial pilot in a range of industry sectors – from agriculture and tourism to aerial surveillance and passenger transport.
Our CPL programme is offered in Huesca, Spain, Oxford, UK, Caloundra and Sunshine Coast, Australia.
In Australia, Airways Aviation and Southern Cross University offer a unique opportunity for students to complete a Bachelor of Business, a Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane) and Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) over three years.
